Highlights of 2025

2025 was a year of real progress for ebi. As well as growing assets under management (AUM) by more than £1.3 billion, we continued to develop our investment proposition and invest in our technology stack and people — all with a clear focus on supporting our advisers by delivering better outcomes for their clients.

The Bigger Picture

Throughout 2025 ebi has experienced a period of accelerated AUM growth, reflecting the continued demand from our advisers for our discretionary investment services.

In June 2025, assets under management reached £4 billion1, representing approximately 40% year-on-year growth. This momentum continued, with AUM reaching £5 billion2 in November2025.

Tolerance-Based Rebalancing

In 2025 we implemented a series of enhancements to our tolerance-based rebalancing approach, informed by a 30-year historical data whitepaper study.

Enhancements included:

• Revised asset groupings to support more effective monitoring
• Methodology changes to ensure portfolios return fully to target allocations following rebalancing
• Application of the updated approach across a broad range of portfolios

Further detail is available to advisers via a dedicated whitepaper, and a whitepaper highlights paper. Download here.

Factsheet Enhancements

We enhanced our portfolio factsheets with a dedicated ESG page, which shows alignment with client preferences and market trends.

Improvements to layout, and structure have also made factsheets easier to navigate, helping improve client accessibility.

New Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) System

We launched a new online due diligence questionnaire (DDQ) system to streamline how advisors get to know their client’s preferences.

The intuitive online system reduces administrative burden through flexible completion, smart pre-filling and more focused questioning. These improvements support stronger regulatory oversight while enabling more consistent and efficient outcomes for advisers.

Redesigned Reliance on Others (ROO) Process

Our Reliance on Others process was fully redesigned in 2025, supported by invaluable adviser feedback.
The new centralised, digital workflow:

• Reduces duplication
• Streamlines contract creation
• Provides real-time visibility from submission through to approval

The new centralised ROO system helps reduce manual input, speed up turnaround, freeing up time for advisers to focus on client outcomes.
