Photography Day, Wednesday 16th September
Introduction
We’ll be meeting at Runway East in central Birmingham for a company photography day. The goal is to capture a range of photos – including headshots, team shots, and other lifestyle shots – for ebi to use across internal and external marketing materials (e.g. brochures, website, and PR).
To make the most of the day, we’ve also arranged for Exco to be on-site, giving us more people in one convenient location.
Logistics:
• A meeting room (named Bournville) is booked for Exco, now starting at 10:30am
• A separate office space is available for staff, with plenty of seating – located next door to Bournville
• Wi-Fi, tea, and coffee will be available throughout
• Lunch will be provided at 12:30pm
Schedule:
We’ll confirm on the day which shots you’ll be involved in. To kick things off, we’re aiming to complete an hour of headshots by 10am, before moving on to team shots.
If you have any questions or run into any issues, please let us know – we’ll set up a Cliq chat for the day to keep everyone updated.
What to bring
Please bring your laptop and any equipment you normally use for your day-to-day work.
For the lifestyle photography, we’ll need a few extra props – Amun, Lillee, Dan and Bradley please also bring your headsets.
Location
The photography will take place at Runway East; Arca, Temple Row, Birmingham B2 5AF
Located within the Arca Building. It’s a 5-minute walk from Grand Central station, opposite Pigeon Park. If you are planning to drive, Q-Park Mailbox and Grand Central carparks are located nearby.

Style of photography
We’re aiming for a natural, bright, and approachable style throughout the day with a mix of:
• Headshots – clean, professional, and friendly
• Candid/natural shots – people working, chatting, and collaborating as they normally would
• Lifestyle/posed shots – more directed, relaxed shots showcasing our culture and people
• Team shots – groups and departments together
Please see some examples below.

Our Photographer
We’re delighted to have Daniel Graves joining us for the day. Dan is a Birmingham-based commercial photographer with a strong portfolio covering corporate and brand imagery, PR/editorial work, and colleague/team photoshoots for organisations across a range of sectors.
His style blends natural, authentic imagery with polished corporate photography – a great fit for what we’re looking to capture on the day, from headshots to candid team shots. You can see more of his work at danielgravesphotography.com

Headshots:
Required for all attendees before leaving site. Location TBC – Marketing will organise and prioritise staff on the day.
As several of you will appear in more than one shot today, it’s worth bringing a spare shirt or jacket to change into partway through – it helps keep the photos looking varied rather than repetitive for marketing use. This applys to Harry, Nick, Ashley, Jon G, Josh, Jonathan S, Ed and Sam.
Dress code:
Smart casual. Shirt preferred, tie not required. No t-shirts or jeans.
Point of contact:
Scott, Jason or Arun — via Cliq chat.
Where you will be based
Please stay on the ground floor for the duration of the day unless told otherwise – we’ll need everyone nearby in case we need to call you for photos. You’re welcome to use the breakout areas on the ground floor while you wait or work between shots.
The only meeting rooms available for use are Bournville and the room next to Bournville. Please do not use other floors or meeting rooms, as these haven’t been booked for us. If you’re unsure where to go, ask a member of the team on the day and we’ll point you in the right direction.
