Sue Smith is the Head of Compliance & MLRO at ebi. Sue is also the main point of contact for the FCA and other regulatory bodies. Joining in 2024, Sue is responsible for the Compliance Oversight and Financial Crime within ebi as 2LoD. Sue’s experience within the Financial Services sector includes working with and advising Wealth Management Investment Platforms in the UK, Dubai and Jersey, Advice networks and Appointed Reps, IFAs, Investment Managers and AIFMs with general compliance advice, suitability reviews and assistance on all aspects of Financial Services regulation and FCA projects. Sue is also a qualified data protection officer and currently holds the Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection, and the Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA).
